Farmers Market gets Thumbs Up

Traders and Visitors think the market is a big success.

The recent Farmers Market, held on Saturday 10 December (as part of the Christmas Events Programme), has been hailed as a big success by the attending traders and those who visited. There was a wide variety of goods on sale and many local organisations and traders took part in the market this time around.

Broxburn & Uphall Traders' Association would like to thank the events company (Forum Events), who braved the snow at such an early hour to set up the stalls and also West Lothian Council's Economic Development Officer (Hazel Hay), who put so much work into preparing this and all the other events.

We took a few pictures at some of the various events on the day, these have just added to a new album in our Photo Gallery, meantime you can click on the thumbnails below to view a larger image.

Flowering Baskets Return to the Towns

Winter baskets replaced by new summer planting.

The flowering baskets, carefully prepared for Broxburn and Uphall Traders' Association by Williamson Garden Centre, are now on display outside participating member businesses throughout Broxburn & Uphall.

After surviving such a harsh winter we took the baskets out of service at the end of April, they were taken back to Williamsons headquarters in Uphall and the staff quickly got to work... By the 3rd of July they were ready to go again.
We think they have done a superb job with the turnaround, the choice of flowers and mix of colours is superb and we hope you like the results.
